Alstroemeria

Alstroemeria: it i also known as the Peruvian Lily. It symbolizes wealth, prosperity, and fortune. Alstroemeria is also the flower of friendship. These flowers come in orange, pink, purple, red, yellow, and white. They do not have a fragrance and generally have striped petals but not always. 

Daisies

The name "daisy" comes from Old English "daes eage" which means "day's eyes". Daisies open their flower and dawn, and close at night (hence the name). Daisies are edible and are rich with vitamin C, the leaves make a tasty addition to a salad. The symbol for daisies is purity and innocence. You can find daisies anywhere on earth except Antarctica. Daisies are actually two flowers in one, the bigger petals on the outside and the (usual) yellow on the inside. 

Bells of Ireland

Contrary to the name, "bells of Ireland" are not actually from Ireland. The reason they got this name is because of their luscious green color leaves. They are a member of the mint family and are from Western Asia. Bells of Ireland are also known as "shell flowers" and can grow up to 2-3 feet tall. Like baby's breath they make a great dried flower. In arrangements they make wonderful decorative flowers. These flowers are a symbol of good luck and are often used around St. Patrick's Day. 

Chrysanthemum

"Chrysanthemums" or "mums" symbolize long life, joy, optimism and fidelity. They are thought to bring happiness and laughter to the home. 

If used as an indoor house plant they an help remove toxins from the air and repeal bugs.

Chrysanthemum's originated in China and is the national flower of Japan. Every year in Japan they have a "Festival of Happiness" to celebrate this flower. 

Chrysanthemum's are also the official flower of Chicago. 

The term chrysanthemum is adapted from the Greek words chrysos which means gold (its original color) and anthos meaning flower. 

These flowers also have a ton of health benefits. In Asia they have a drink called "Chrysanthemum Tea" and is used as a relaxant. It is also commonly taken to help relieve head congestion and strengthen the lungs. Chrysanthemum is a herb that helps relieve heat from the upper body such as chest and head, and is especially helpful for itchy, red eyes.

Chrysanthemum's blooms have longevity which make them a favorite for a florist to use in arrangements.
